Australian Government endorses UN declaration on indigenous rights

The Australian – THE federal Government has officially endorsed the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.The former Howard government voted against the declaration in 2007 on the grounds it would elevate customary law above Australian law. Read Article
