85 year old Canadian woman subjected to humiliating search on internal flight, Canada introducing full-body scanners in major airports
Ottowa Citizen – Transportation Minister John Baird was unapologetic Sunday about the invasive search of an 85-year-old woman conducted by security personnel at the Ottawa Airport. Baird was asked by media Sunday about the treatment of the four-foot-10, 90-pound woman who was travelling from Ottawa to Toronto on Dec. 28. The woman was asked to remove her boots and then unzip her pants. A female inspection officer then poked at her abdomen.
As part of new airport security measures, Baird explained that 44 full-body scanners, at a cost of $11 million, will soon be arriving in major airports across Canada. Twelve scanners are arriving this week while the rest will come in five to 10 weeks. Read Article

Those of us who think know this is just a game and anyone who really wants to can get things through. I have tested it myself and have been able to pass through metal scalpels through airport and court security scanners. The first time by mistake and when I realized what I had done looked surprised and asked the guards to pass my bag through again. No suspicion was raised by my behaviour and I entered the court with a lethal weapon. Just attach the foil covered blade to the handle (if one is so inclined). The blade has to be shielded by metal. An even sharper material is obsidian , a form of quartz but not good at bone but fine for the jugular.
On righting to any main stream media about this I am of course ignored.
