Climate Fact Of The Day

The great problem with the whole debate over Anthropogenic Climate Change is that the facts are so voluminous they have a tendency to be lost in the background noise of our daily lives, and their significance is therefore potentially lost. With that in mind from 5th September 2010 Open Your Eyes News will run this new feature on the website which will present just one piece of the jigsaw daily at 1pm WST. Over time we hope this will both help arm you, our reader, with the facts to hand, as well as provide an archive for researchers worldwide to utilise. Additionally this daily gobbet of information will also go into our existing Climate Archive which currently holds 983 climate related news articles.

A huge word of thanks must to David Archibald, whose excellent book “The Past And Future of Climate” inspired this project, and David has kindly provided Open Your Eyes News with the many graphs and data sets that you will see over the first few weeks of the project.
